Daytona Twin Tower Commercial Seawall
Client Type: Commercial / HOA
After two back-to-back hurricanes wiped out a 50-year-old seawall and washed nearly a third of the property into the ocean, the DiMucci Towers needed a marine construction partner who could deliver a large-scale commercial solution fast. Ultramarine stepped in and replaced the destroyed structure with a new 400-foot state-of-the-art seawall built to protect the property for decades to come.
The Challenge
Hurricanes Ian and Nicole struck the DiMucci Towers in 2022 in rapid succession, destroying their existing 12-foot-high concrete seawall that had stood for 50 years. The damage was catastrophic — nearly a third of the property was washed into the ocean, leaving the building fully exposed to the sea with no shoreline protection remaining.

Scope of Work

Our Solution
Ultramarine replaced the entire 400-foot failed seawall with a new engineered structure designed to withstand Florida’s most demanding coastal conditions. The project was executed with full permitting coordination, in-house crews, and a focus on protecting the building and its residents for the long term.
