What looked like a simple concrete walkway problem turned out to be a sign of serious soil loss behind Joe’s seawall. A 6-foot wide concrete walkway on the property had begun to collapse. The visible surface damage was actually masking years of soil loss occurring behind the seawall through failing seams. Without addressing the root cause, any surface repair would have been temporary at best.
