The St. Pete Yacht and Tennis Club Association needed to replace roughly 1,500 linear feet of aging seawall that had reached the end of its useful life. Ultramarine Solutions was contracted to deliver a long-term shoreline protection solution that would safeguard the property, surrounding infrastructure, and waterfront amenities for years to come.
An Aging Wall and a Deck in the Way
Years of age, saltwater exposure, and constant tidal action had worn the existing seawall down. Portions were still standing, but the system no longer offered the structural reliability the property needed for long-term protection. The most demanding part of the job was a section of seawall that had to be installed directly beneath an existing cantilevered deck. With limited clearance and restricted access, that stretch called for specialized equipment, careful sequencing, and close coordination to complete the installation without disturbing the structure overhead.


Long-Term Protection, Built Around Tight Access
Ultramarine coordinated demolition, shoreline stabilization, and installation of the new seawall system while keeping the property safe and minimizing disruption to the Association and its residents. Given the length of the run and the varying conditions along the property, the work depended on detailed planning and steady communication between the construction team, the engineers, and the Association to keep everything moving efficiently. The result is a durable system engineered to stand up to the harsh marine environment for the long haul.
